Phrasing

Be careful of phrases both kind and rude.

They can be misjudged and sound intolerant.

Like the phrase love at first sight,

Which implies that someone “loves” another

Simply by their looks and not their personality.

They haven’t learned anything about the other

And they’re already reading the cover and not the

Rising action.

Another phrase that limits humane thought is the phrase

“Glass half full or half empty.”

If someone views the glass as half empty that doesn’t mean

They’re pessimistic it’s just their personal view of how they perceive it.

The phrase alone is unrealistic

If it really boils down to half full or half empty then just fill up the same cup

And pour another one for a friend to enjoy instead of just focusing

On a limitation.

To put it simply, be careful what you say.

A lot of things can hurt people.

More or so actions sometimes sting more than words.

I can definitely tell you this.

The phrase

"sticks and stones may break my bones,

but words can never hurt me."

Is something I wish was true.
