The Physician

The Physician

By: Brandon Taylor

Since the beginning of time human beings have fallen ill

To minute microorganisms whose mssion is to kill

Isn't there some person that can put an end to all the pain

When you're in pain call a doctor, he'll put that germ to shame

People have needed doctors since the beginning of time

in today's society doctors are getting harder and harder to find

I want to be a doctor in order to help people that get sick

I want to be able to prescribe them a pill that will do just the trick

I want to help people that are in dire need

I want to get them out of the hospital bed and back onto their feet

I want to help my patients that just happen to fall ill

I want to show those diseases that they can't break the human will

I want to be that person that people will be able to come to

I want to be a part of something that is honest, noble, and true

When I become a doctor, I will look at things in a new light

I want to help the human race have a chance in this deadly fight
