The Piano
With its mouth closed it silently sleeps.
Pry open its lips with quiet creaks,
then press on its teeth, and its inside leaps.
Tiny little hands pluck and it moans,
then you shift in your seat and it quietly groans,
and the noises it makes reverberates through your bones.
