Pick And Choose

...pick and choose... Nov 5-2015

...Backed into a corner with many choices laid before my hand
...Pick and choose. Right and wrong. No matter the choice I'll be damned
...Swirling pictures  what could happen tomorrow shown before my eyes
...A presentation of outcomes keeps playing never dies
... clock is quickly ticking time in short supply
...pick and choose. Right and wrong. No matter the choice somebody will die
...backed into a corner my fists crumpled heavy but ready to fight
....delaying the verdict debating my choices wings waiting to take flight
...soft sounds escaping. despair moans of solitude. Defeat
...chains bind my ankles choices waiving about ready to let my self be beat
...backed into a corner begging for mercy  Holding out my empty cup
...pick and choose. Right and wrong. Timeless Timer is almost up
...crushing some dreams. Making room for other to dos
...loosing my way and I am forced to pick and choose
... sentimentals lost in the avenue of cosmetics
...the antique quill lost in a bottomless sea of bics
...compassion lost as I slowly climb the splintered ladder to the top
...backed into a corner as I choose which to climb next. Shiny or dull. Wood or metal
...each having their own qualities different steps separate outcomes
...pick and choose. Right and wrong. The labrynths walls move with each step I take
... turn left turn right. Turn around thoughts clouding with every step I take
...arrows pointing one way. Printed map to the other
...the internal compass states I have arrived but should I even bother?
...head hung down in shame backed into a corner with choices to choose
...pick and choose. Right and wrong. No matter my answer I lose.....

Skylar Marie

Hi, im a girl who has been dealt a hand of cards that have been through quite a few games of poker, and even though they are a little torn and worn, they still refuse to collapse, I am a very realistic and hardworking person who knows how to find several ways to release all of my pent up emotions, writing being one of them. I have many hobbies, being a very artsy person, singing, dancing, painting, drawing, writing, and cooking are a few of my specialties as well as having a habit of caring a little too much about those that surround me, but "a smile a day keeps the demons away", right? ..."A smile a day shows them it'll be okay"?..."A smile a day shows them the way"? something like that... one of those should be it... I tend to be optimistic but everybody has their down days, "it rains to those that deserve the sun the most, but one must keep in mind that there is always a rainbow, even if your umbrella is blocking the way..."
