Pick A Tree

Stare into his eyes and what do you see A frightened little boy who wants to please In this big world, he doesn't stand a chance Everyone ignores him without a glance His life is hard and he knows not why He wants nothing more than to die tonight So a plan is devised, a certain time and place He doesn't let his feelings show on his face He gathers a rope and finds the right tree But then someone comes along and sees All of his lies that began misery He looks into her eyes, his visionary No more lies to tell and everyone sees The happy boy that he was meant to be.
