Education, such a sore subject So hard to choose, public or private Weight the pros and cons, And pick your poison One has fights, and friends The other rules, and privacy Better or worse, it depends on you You, pick your poison Public schools can be messy And many can be strapped for money Underpaid teachers and staff Pick your poison Private schools can be immaculate Starch and stiff, students and staff Rules and regulations, dress code included Pick your poison But decisions when bogged down Should be left to the student They should choose their path They pick their poison Yes, education is important But if none are perfect, perhaps Allow the student, the child, the future To pick their poison
