pickup

if a polar bear weighed just enough to break the ice and you somehow fell through

i'd come pick you up

(like a lucky penny)

in my sailboat

(gosh i hope you like sailing) so i could ship you and me together...

and we wouldn't need a map because the stars in your eyes would be bright enough

to get us out of the friend zone

where the wifi password is us24ever because our connection would be so strong...

then

when i'd finally take you to the roller rink

(they don't let you bring your own snacks to the movies)

i'd look deep into your starry eyes and say,

"your lips look lonely. would you like me to introduce them to mine?"
