Picture
It isn't really a matter
Of hearing the shutter sound
When a picture is taken
It's not a matter of what is posted
And what gets liked
It's not a matter of capturing the picture
It is the matter of capturing the memory
Because in a split second
You have captured a moment of time
And
You now hold a piece of history within your hands
Every single day we do not capture
The silent smiles
Or the warm hugs
But we capture the moments with those whom we love
Because sometimes life isn't about what the picture looks like
It's about the moment when it's current
There are photos left on shelves
And there are
Moments left on shelves
Because no one dared to capture them
Mountain tops buried by deep sunsets
That are now forgotten on the face of the earth,
The panorama that will never be...
Life is not a matter of what can be seen
Or mesmerized
But life is a matter of capturing
So that we can remember
That at least for one minute in time
We were loved
And for once
We were a piece of memory that in the future,
just may be remembered
