Picture of Me
I do not take pictures of myself
I save that duty for others
I take tools off of a shelf
And work with men I’d consider my brothers
My pictures show two tattoos on my back
“Nothing worth having comes easy” and “A Son reflects his Mother” are what they read
Working hard until the job is done is my knack
And putting forth an unbreakable effort is what I bleed
My pictures are filled with family, friends, and those I hold dear
Without the love of others, my life serves no meaning
A strong and resilient man is what I see in the mirror
But having faith in my family and God represents my being
My photos exemplify my small town life
School, Work, and Church represent my days
My dreams of helping others are rife
And the Healthcare field represents my ways
I am not a man that takes pictures of me
My words are more important than paper and pen
And everything in my life starts with we
Ask me for my help, my respond is “when”I do not take pictures of myself
