Picture me whole.

i know am broken but picture me whole. picture me whole as the moon on a warm summer night with fresh air kissing your skin tenderly so as to bring dead cells back to life, with the smell of the ocean freshness waving kindly to your nose and awakening memories of a time you once knew so well that nostalgic butterflies fill your tummy oh so perfectly as they once did. picture me whole as the day we first met and wondered where have i been all your life because you didn't know what hit you after an exchange of a few words. i know i am broken but i still contain fragments of who i was at a simpler time where all i had to worry about was never missing breakfast on an easy Saturday morning. picture me whole like the sunrise over the horizon while sitting at your favorite spot watching over the city, forget of my cracks and pieces of misplaced fragmentation i know are somewhere around here. forget of the streams of tears that have flown from these rivers of mine. forget about broken branches that fell before the change of seasons arrived. forget about the hurricanes that have taken down what was once a beautifully erect city. i once was along side all the forests, mountains, valleys and nature that once encompassed my essence. i am not the same anymore and i don't think i'll ever be. i am using the last parts of me to write this so please forget it all. i know it's a huge ask from my side so if you fail all i ask is: can you picture me whole one last time before i'm completely gone.
