Picture Perfect

Picture perfect, that’s what we were

Always together, always laughing

Tight relationships and strong bonds

Vacation adventures, vacation ending

Shared interests and talents

Love without end, love not turning back

Picture torn in two

Years of memories, now regrets

Distance hurts and discourages

Trying not to hurt, trying to not to care

Wanting to repair and restart

Disappointed, feeling despair

Pictures painful and ignored

Divorce arose, sadness remains
