A picture is worth 1,000 memories

Stranded and alone

No way to pick up a phone

Sitting here trying to get by

Looking at this reminds me why

Seeing the face of who I love

Knowing that they are not gone up above

It reminds me to keep fighting

For one day I will see them in a sighting

I will not fear this abandoned place

Because one day I know I will see your face

This picture with me I hold dear

Once I return we will share a beer

The island is small but I will survive

Because the thought of you is keeping me alive

I do not fear abandonment

Because of this photo I am passionate

To escape this place and sail away

When that time comes it will be a good day

Until then I still hold on

The picture of you makes me strong
