A picture of your brother.

Seeing him,
In a picture,
On the internet.
You can’t know,
The pain you’ve left,
And how deep it goes.
I haven’t got the words,
The strength,
Or the gall.
I want to help,
To make it better,
To fix it.
But a loose hammer is about as good as a bent nail.
Some days I’m the hammer,
Some days I’m the nail,
And even still,
Some I’m the wobbly table.
