Pictures

Pictures are supposed to capture a moment.

To capture a feeling.

To help you remember.

But it shouldn't require a picture to have a memory.

Keep a journal, write your story, take a picture.

We all need a little help to remember, sometimes.

So, even though it feels wrong, I use pictures.

Because somehow, it's the right thing to do.

Even though we lie and say we remember it like it was yesterday. 

We sometimes need a reminder it happened at all.

This is the miracle of pictures.
