Picturesque

A bottomless pit

swarming alive

paving the path

with its sluggish

stride

Curving, looping

to and fro

milling the land

and swooping the streets

challenging the hills

cursing the damned

A bottomless pit

no end or start

swarming, alive

cringing with fear

Curving, looping

shaking to the core

repeating its curse

with only a

shovel in tow
