Piece

All at once it goes away,

    Almost, but enough.

Bright and clear to see the way

    Almost, but enough.

Blossoms under every toe

sweet mellodies, the rustling breeze,

So many hearts just wanting to go

Out of the nest, into the air, out of the trees.

The thoughts, the worries, the fears

    Almost, but enough.

The dreams the loss the tears,

    Almost, but enough.

There is nothing left

There is nothing more

It is gone for now

And Ever More.
