The Piece of My Heart
There is a piece of my heart, Of which I could never depart. This piece of my heart, Can't be pulled apart. This peice of my heart, Is a piece of someone very smart. He is a very important piece, He is a person, full of skills He doesn't care about the bills. This piece of my heart, Cares for me and my family, His career can sometimes make us oceans apart. But there is one thing I know to be true, No matter what becomes of me and him, We will always laugh at our terrible jokes again. Others like I aren't so lucky, They lost their fathers to war and strife. And I wish their families will move on again. I will not lose this piece of my heart. Who lives with me in these current parts. This piece of my heart, Is my Father who will never depart again. He is living well with me and my mom. My Father, is a Luitenant Colonel in the Army, He is the best model I can look up to, He is my best friend, and I know that is true. He will never depart, This piece of my heart.
