Pieces

Pieces, that’s all that is left of the past

Pieces are the only thing that ever last

Pieces of a memory that escapes your mind

Pieces of something that changed overtime

Pieces of something that you forgot

And now you remember it as something it's not

The pieces of the feelings that were in your heart

And for some reason those pieces fell apart

As you get older the pieces start to fade

And now only exist under the future’s shade
