Pieces

Our hands fit together

Like pieces of a puzzle

Before, they were rough

Pulpy and pressed

The edges were tight

And made our thumbs hurt

But now that we've built it

One million times

Our tabs and our blanks

Have been worn smooth and soft

Showing tears and the breaks

That come of age

But still our hands fit

As if made for eachother
