Pieces of a Broken Heart

Here’s my broken heart,

And also over there,

It shattered into a million pieces

When my lonely life

Just fell apart

And landed at my feet;

I have tried and tried

To put

My shattered heart

Back together,

But then life

Brings me down and

Crushes me down again,

And I have to start back

At Square One

All over again,

And the cycle just keeps going.
