The Pier

Today I sat at the pier

thinking about you and how much I

wished you were near

Today I sat at the pier

and thought about you

I sat there and watched the water

crash against the wood

Yes I sat the pier

and as I thought about you

I wiped away a tear

Why did I cry?

Well it was becasue I missed you my dear

It was beautiful

The memory I had of you while sitting at the pier
