PILLSPILLSPILLSPILLSPILLS

what does one write

when ones mind is white,

when the screen is blank

and the words aren't right?

what can one say

at the end of the day

when the scars fade metallic

and the eyes turn gray?

how does one speak

when the pills hit their peak

and the numbness they feel

isn't what they seek?

how can one go on

when the feelings are gone

but the wrist-slashing needs

still attack after dawn?

what really is fixed

when the medicines' mixed

but the body grows pale

and no feelings exist?
