A Pine's Revenge

We’re not defenseless.

I see you there.

Watching you watching me.

Admiring me,

The frost on my Green.

Basking in the generous heat.

We’re not defenseless.

Come out and wander

Among us.

See how we glisten

From the Gold hot.

Enjoy it.

Look up while you are.

Now is my chance!

With the smell of burning pine

On the air,

The White cold falls.
