Pink Houses
When I was small I didnt know that we were poor because I didnt understand that I was als free not knowing that I was not. Young american boy tied up in a knot we used to play all day on new lots ave A trash heap is where we used to have our most joy. the sanitation dump was our backyard. Rock fights and my first dog queenie we even filmed a kung fu flick. We was poor but its like I didnt know enough to give a shit. We ran free screaming ringolivio 123 123! playing kick the can 10 cents got you two packs of now and laters from Sam the Candy man! Mom would throw nickles from the second floor so I could score used to park an old brown station wagon across the street from ps 224. I think the year was 74 Yeah right about the time my pops died and Life suddenley kicked in the door.
