A Pink Jewel

It glows bright inside of her

Suprasternal notch, balances

Between collarbones; A light

So brilliant and yet so

Simple I knew then we were

In the same woods. I ran away

From you or towards you I

Can’t remember for I fell

Asleep after falling in

The swamp you trampled along,

Forgetting me
