Pink Ribbon
A single pink ribbon
Pinned to a shirt
In honor of those
No longer on earth
Due to a cancer
So horrible it's true
That not even the doctors
Know what to do
The women and men
Affected by this
Leave behind families
Where they will be missed
They are the strong
Holding their own fight
One so personal
It takes all their might
They work hard
In the end
But so many lose
Sadly we cannot mend
A single pink ribbon
Pinned to a shirt
Remembering those
No longer on Earth
