Touchdown down for a minute in copetown. The thin air really straightens me out. And not for a lack of trying I can still feel the death that shook me from my sleep at 3 am. Where do we get off thinking that were grown by smoking cigarettes and inking our skin. Because the booze took his teeth many years ago, and the whites of his eyes weren't far behind. There's a body in the bedroom whose soul has left the earth and now resides in the light spilling through the window. She's only one option to pass to, you see PVP believed in hell on earth. Because loss forces perspective like peering through the crack that was letting the light in the whole time. Origins and genius are one and the same when not looked at so linearly. And the devil in the armchair, slowly turns to stone alone with pictures of his bi-annual family. He is more dead than the ashes in the urn will ever be, every ounce of love he stole dried up. Nothing on the earth dares touch her now, so many miles, seven kids, one war, real love perseveres.
