The pit

The longer we talk the harder it gets Just to tell you how I truly feel I'm sorry I've hid it for so long I just haven't had the nerve To ask you if you felt the same   Every time I'm about to I get a pit in my stomach I just can't seem to figure out how to not fall in The more I try to find a way the more I realize I simply just have to jump in with a leap of faith   And if at the bottom I break then it's how it's meant to be But should I end up being lifted up to the other side Then my one and only dream shall be realized I'll be standing right by your side clapsping your hand oh so tight   So I shall take the leap of faith before long And should I hit the bottom the I'll be left with 2 choices Find another pit to try to jump into Or find a way back up and jump once more And to be honest I would prefer the latter
