Pitchfork Pipe Dreams

In our pitchfork pipe dreams,

we walk through fields of reeds,

free of seams, flowing like streams.

We break our backs sifting through the mulch,

working towards something more than our daily screens,

escaping in our pitchfork pipe dreams.
