Pitter-Patter, Pitter- Patter

The sky glows orange

As the rain falls,

Pitter-patter, pitter-patter

The sky flashes blue

But only for a second,

Pitter-patter, pitter-patter

The Heavens scream with all of their might

To us? Only a rumble,

Pitter-patter, pitter-patter

The rage subsides

And all becomes calm,

Pitter-patter, pitter-patter

We think all is normal

And all is well,

Pitter-patter, pitter-patter

But once more the sky turns blue

And the Heavens get angry,

Pitter-patter, pitter-patter

You may ask,

“What’s left behind?”

Pitter-patter, pitter-patter

You look outside

And see all is drenched,

Pitter-patter, pitter-patter.
