Pity

I have friends, yes I do, really They're nice They're kind They include me Consciously Intentionally Like I'm a wet dog brought in from the rain I'm cute Pathetic Honestly, I do get it But it hurts because I used to be so good Good at this Good at talking Good at faking Good at drawing all the attention in a room But now it's exhausting I'm just wondering Is this normal? To be drowning? Suffocating in the space I never have to share? Choking on the clean wide open air
