this place

This place has no appeal to me I want to leave so desperately I need to get away from here But, loneliness is what I fear This place is full of memories But, the memories are far from me I do not want a part of this And if I leave I won’t be missed This place I wish to soon forget This place where you and I met You’re the reason I long to roam Because you’ve made me hate this home This place is now a distant past But, still those memories will last I can’t forget what went down Or why when I think of here I frown This place was filled with my own hate Hate that grew with each passing day Now this place is gone for good And my life can go on as it should
