This Place

This Place

I want to change it,

Change it like it changed me.

It may be my home,

But it’s chewed up my soul.

I want to save it.

Save it, like it couldn’t save me.

It may be where love grows,

But it’s also where evil borrows.

I want to leave it,

Leave it all behind me.

It may be all I know,

But I really need to go.

This place I must leave, I must go.

T. Talbott

Writing has always been a way for me to release my emotions...As of right now, in this particularly rough moment in my life, it has greatly helped me maintain a stable and healthy mind.
