A Place

Not a home, but a place.

A place you’re forced to fit in.

A part of something but separated.

Denied by all;

Surrounded by walls.

Given enough but it’s not love.

You’re forced to stay;

Forced to fit; just forced.

Darkness is here and you’re lost.

There’s nowhere to live.

Everywhere to fall.

Another strike, another family.

Not a family, but strangers.

Not a home, but a place.

A place you’re forced to fit into;

Caving walls, engulfing shadows;

Because you have nowhere to go.

It’s just a place; like all the others.
