A Place of Dreams

There is a place that everyone dreams of

a place that is perfect and happy and fair,

Where everyone sings a good happy song

and troubles are something that are long gone.

A place not yet found

but frantically searched for,

Because troubles are arising

bigger and faster.

What people don't realize

is this place is right here,

And we're stopping ourselves from getting there.

With every tear that a person sheds,

this place becomes closer to being just in our heads.

If only we'd realize this place can be made,

maybe then we'd change our ways.

Then maybe

just maybe,

This place we've searched for so long

could finally be found,

Right here at Home.
