The Place In The East

To the place in the East

Where the Sun arises, I shall proceed,

I should know how he does that,

I already know why –

To create and give light.

I am at the edge of my world,

And blinded by the Sun;

Because of its brilliance

I am unable to see the Sun,

That does not rise.
