Placebo

I take you without thinking

I take you day and night

But every time I take you

It doesn't feel quite right

At first at the beginning

I didn't even blink

The high of you, entirely

Could make a sea ship sink

The dose of you got heightened

From 1 to 2 to 3

But now the doc refuses to

The dose of my own sanity

He stopped my damn prescription

I had to find you somewhere else

Little did I know the dealers

A fake with shit he sells

But I swear each time I took you

It was just like long ago

In the evening of September

Where I let my addiction grow.
