A book is what's attached to me It is what keeps me from reality I'm hungry, no the book says I'm full I think too hard I'll fall in another hole A hole of a fake mask upon my face The book always helps to keep it in place Just so it won't slip off my face Shield me away I don't want to see Its just......its just too many people looking at me The book is the sacret land Its silk cover glazes my hand I smell I see the places that take me to a different land The land of water and sand, the land of the sacret man A time of the middle ages with the black plague and dead faces To the time of the high middle ages with the wigs and the mask on their faces The book can take you to various location To man in France who paints pictures of people at a stance To a war that was only solved by blood shed The books are what's next to me They shy me away from my insecurities Hidding me from the true harsh reality You call it ignorance I say its bliss Don't judge others on the way they handle shifts
