Places of Solace

When my problems are big

I go where I feel small.

To put my thoughts in place

In

   light

          of

              it

                 all.

I go to the top of the world

Where the trees are tall,

The rocks are warm,

And

      my

          worries

                     are

                          small.

I go sit by the sea

Where the ocean brawls,

The seagulls scream,

And

      my

          worries

                      are

                           small.

I go out to the island

Where the loon calls,

The clouds tough the water,

And

       my

           worries

                      are

                          small.

I go straight to you

For you are my all.

My heart is content,

And

      my

          worries

                      are

                          gone.
