On a Plane

Noises made by the plane

Drinking Sprite

Insane

Watch out

Hold up

Go outside

Look up

Fire burning

Sit down

Look up to the ground

Falling falling way behind

Turn around

Be kind

Warning sign

You're mine

Wake up

Your fine

Too Big

Too Small

In this world i've got it all

My plane, differently:

Whirring engines

That hurt my ears

But keep us in the air, so I can only be thankful.

The air, recycled and bitter

And then the prickling sweetness

Of something I get so rarely

Against my tongue.

My brother giggling away at his movies

Beside me, oblivious to the world

And I stare out the window.

Blue. White. Blue. White.

Sea and clouds.

It's too cold in here.

The plane is too small, too loud in its silence.

But it's flying me to paradise,

So all that is barely a price to pay.
