Plane Out Of Sight

The plane has been lost- out of sight

all the families are in a deep fright

everyone's trying to find the light

looking for a clue the smallest- the slight

People are looking day and night

looking in each direction- left and right

looking around with a searchlight

people are gathering trying to unite

wishing on each sight of starlight

looking high and low at every height

finding the lost the chance very tight

people's face turning pale and white

using different detectors and the satellite

looking for hours past midnight

being courteous to the families and especially polite

trying for families to reunite

they don't know if they're alive- not quite

seing the plane crash doesn't excite

all the people dead isn't a delight

but have hope and faith- everything will be alright
