A plate filled ...
Psalm 34:8
8 Taste and see that the Lord is good!
How blessed is the one who takes shelter in Him!
A plate filled ...
I filled a plate with imaginary desires,
just wanted to see who would eat away.
Who would stuff themselves in a moment
and who would save some for a rainy day?
After some chewing and gorging
some truly thought it to be real.
Was it intended to be scorching
their simple souls through fake appeal?
Who is it … who is constantly feeding?
The masses who have lost their taste?
Is it the media or our leaders
or the greedy for gain in haste?
Deceit here and there … in a hurry
to flavor facts and marinate truth,
until the facts are quickly buried
in the human mind as one aloof.
