In water of any depth

Swim

This is ambition

Growth

Found not measured

Conquer and take away the memory of a dream

I can see the safety of forever in the ever present whisper of destiny

What the hell does that mean

Another pull of bourbon

With semi clear eyes, I lift them

Up

Not forward

It is not sight, my driving force

The energy pulled from deep beyond the edges of time

Nature, culled

Have we been asleep

Do you want to wake

Can we

A bit of ice cream in the freezer

Temptation

In a cone

Reward

Transformation is innate to our condition

To persevere, improve out station

And pass it along

This is not only our right

It is our calling

Take part in the destiny of our world

Shape it

It is, but only for the asking
