play the fool

my hearts an ant in a magnifying glass

you’re a child rolling in the grass
making figures of the clouds
i’m trying to figure out how
this is a game for two when you won’t give me a clue
searching for something blue
but i’m out here searching for you
taking salt to a snail
im taking salt by the grain

child’s play
playing with my love
tic tac toe
three hoes in a row
blinded by my rays
i’m a ball of sunshine
but I didn’t come to play
