Play Me

Roll the dice To see where the blame lands But it wasn’t me And it wasn’t you In the conservatory with the candlestick I’m bored of this game Take back your nostalgia and don’t pass GO I’m ahead when you yell SORRY! We move back one space Up laundry chutes And down ladders leaning on leaky roofs Hit with missiles not fists because you’re a man so you say and my battleship is sunk Seven months later My queen left your king In checkmate You owe me $500 on Park Avenue
