Play Pretend

I can pretend life doesn't exist

and stay in bed all day because

i'd rather just lay in the gray

then deal with all my failure,

the sun lights up all the faults

I can hide in my quiet gloom,

and lay my heart out in notes for her

i couldt bear to when we talk
