Putting all my effort in, when you gave me none. Pleasing you until the deed was done. Listening to every lie you ever told. Lieing to myself as your stories got old. Am I deserving of being here with you? Asking questions you never know the answer to? Yelling at you, fighting for what i thought was mine. Yearning for what you were giving her the whole time. Ease dropping on all your phone calls. Everybody was right about you after all. Denial is what tears me up the worst. Don't lie to me and I'll be less likely to burst. I saw the signs but I wasn't ready. I was looking for someone to go steady, And have an actual relationship for a long time. But it wasn't you, because you were hers, not mine. I hate to admit it but now I know... I let you play me all the way to the end of the road.
