Because most of the things they taught
I had already known.

For not paying attention
Because I got A's anyway and
I eased their apprehension.

For having headphones in my ears
Because I was always smarter
Than all my peers.

I've never gotten in trouble
For events that have taken place
Because the teachers play favorites and
I am an academic ace

But they need to see
That their attitude towards me
Isn't the attitude it should be;
They should treat everyone equally
