Playing the Field

Playing the field is getting old Lonely nights are very cold Some chapters in my book should be untold But I rather let you read it all, so it's told All throughout the internet is where you can find parts Of the book of my life from the end and the start Even though I have no significant other in my heart I feel like there is a chapter in my book that has shattered apart Shattering like my heart did, way back in time Before it was shattered, I had a heart full of sunshine Instead of a regular heart beat, with mine you heard a chime It sounded so beautifully, just like when you heard a rhyme Once something is shattered, it will never be the same Just like when a normal person gets caught up in fame My heart being like a Xbox, it was played like a game No, I'm not in shame cause I play too, on these lames I know that what I'm doing is wrong But I am on a journey that is taking long I am just a princess waiting to kiss the frog Who will put my heart back together and make it flow blood like a song
