Playing with Fire

It's not as fun as it may sound. The beautiful, dancing flames entranced me, excited me. I coveted the heat. Their warnings were muffled by its roar. I got too close - I have scars to prove it. Engulfed, I cried for help; It spit me out to prowl for another. They're right when they say You have to be careful Or you will get burned.
